INS, The International Numismatic Society is, in fact, the first third party grading company. They pre-date ANACS by a few months.
They certify that the coin is genuine and unaltered, but do not offer a grade. Their internal registration number '8288E' is on the photograph and the coin holder.
A very interesting piece of numismatic history!
We grade this VG-8, minor spot on obverse at 8 o'clock.
